San Augustin Slaw

 

Serves 8

 

  • ½ Head Shredded Red Cabbage
  • ¼ Cup Diced Green Onion
  • ½ Cup Red Wine Vinegar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Tbs Heavy Cream
  • 1 Tsp San Augustin Datil Pepper Table Sauce
  • 4 ½ Tbs Sugar
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • ½ Cup Water

In a mixing bowl add water, cream, salt, sugar, vinegar, and San Augustin Datil Pepper Table Sauce

Beat in the egg.

 

In sauce pan bring the mixture to a boil and let it reduce for 8-10 minutes

Chill mixture until 40 degrees

 

When cooled down, add the mixture to cabbage and green onion. Toss to mix
