Spanish Black Bean Chili

 

Serves 4-6

 

  • 1 Medium Yellow Onion Diced ¼”
  • 1 large Green Bell Pepper Diced ¼”
  • 3 Garlic Cloves Minced
  • 1 Tbs Olive Oil
  • 1 Lb Ground Beef or Turkey
  • 14 ½  oz Diced Tomatoes (1 can)
  • ¼ Cup Tomato Paste
  • ½ Cup Water
  • 29 Oz Black Beans (2 cans)
  • ¼ Tsp Salt
  • ¼ Tsp Pepper
  • 1 Tbs Chili Powder
  • ½ Tsp Cumin
  • ¼ Tsp Paprika
  • 2 Tbs San Augustin Datil Pepper Table Sauce

In a skillet cook off ground beef or turkey and drain excess oil.

 

In large sauce pan sauté garlic, onions, and peppers in olive oil until soft. Combine cooked meat and all other ingredients. Bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer. Let chili simmer for 30 minutes.
